Pastor Curtis is an excellent communicator and speaker. He has the unique and rare skill of making complex issues understandable for a wide audience. He translates those skills into his ability to teach others how to communicate more effectively. Curtis provided tremendous instruction and encouragement for me as I first begain to speak infront of people. His feedback and guidance routinely makes me a better communicator.

Curtis has a tremendous ability to exegete the Scripture. His sermons are crafted masterfully towards application aka not just hearing but doing. He has a terrific ability to be both spiritual and practical in his messages.

Curtis is one of the best preachers I’ve listened to. He preaches in a way that makes the content easily digestible for new believers but still have enough substance for seasoned believers. I’m still impacted by sermons he's done 5+ years after I heard it because of his attention to being relatable, relevant, funny, but still biblically accurate. God definitely blessed him with the ability to preach his word in a way that is true to Scripture while also easy to understand.
