    🎬 INTRO

Does it seem like you’re always fighting?
With your spouse, co-workers, or family?
Where do arguments actually come from… and how do we stop them?

Let’s break down the biblical source of conflict.
Spoiler alert: it's not them — it’s you.
    Let’s go 👇

    🔥 1. Your Appetite — “I didn’t get what I want”

    James 4:1-2 (NLT)
"What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you? You want what you don’t have..."

    You're upset because:

    • Someone didn’t do what you wanted

    • The plan didn’t go your way

    • You didn’t get your timing

    • Someone told you “no”

    • Or they just disagreed with you

😤 This is where pouting turns into problems.

🛑 Is your desire the source of your squabbles?

    💔 2. Your Attachment — “They have what I don’t”

    James 4:5 (NLT)
"...the spirit God has placed within us is filled with envy..."

    This is jealousy in disguise:

    • They got the job… and you didn’t

    • They have the house, spouse, or lifestyle

    • People like them more

    • They seem happier than you

    You’re not content — you’re comparing.
💭 Ask yourself: “Am I upset because someone else is winning?”

📦 Is envy the source of your squabbles?

    😤 3. Your Arrogance — “It’s all about me”

    James 4:6-7 (NLT)
"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. So humble yourselves before God."

    You’re offended.
    You’re insulted.
You’re hurt — so now you’re hurting others.

    Pride says:

    • "I’m always right"

    • "How dare you disagree with me?"

    • "My way is the only way!"

This is where self becomes the idol — and humility disappears.

😠 Is your pride the source of your squabbles?

✅ The Antidote: Repent & Pursue Peace

    1 Peter 3:11 (NLT)
“Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.”

    Conflict won’t disappear overnight.
But it can stop when you stop making it about you.

    So humble yourself.
    Repent.
    Pursue peace.
And let God deal with the rest. 🙏
